Dear reader. Welcome to The Journey!

One of our Tribal Elders, Kim Gørtz, is leader at Center For Regenerative Philosophy and from him we are learning a lot about this whole new paradigm of thinking about our existence with nature. During the last couple of months we have partaken in a series of seminars he held about regenerative philosophy and as a part of this whole adventure, he has asked us the honor of joining the Council for Regenerative Philosophy. Here we sit together with 25+ other great minds, coming from all corners of the nordic business market, to figure out how we can help humanity shifting into this new paradigm of thinking.

When i first embarked on this journey I sat out with the intention of creating a sustainable retreat center. However, when I was WOOFING on the organic farms in Arizona and California I encountered a new word; regenerative.

The reason why they have exchanged this word is because maybe last century we were striving for the planet to sustain itself - to stay alive and just endure the heavy toll we humans took on it, without complaining. However, this battle is lost now. We only have around 50 harvests left to turn the ship around. The World can no longer carry us, or sustain us on its own. No one can carry themselves on their own in fact. We all prosper from belonging to a community. With eacother, with nature and the animals as well.

The word sustainable is translated into Danish as "carry-able", the way we grow our farms or treat our workers should be able to carry us. There is a certain expectation in this word on who has the burden. The planet should be able to carry US, and that ought to be enough..... Well, it turns out that it couldn't. The IPCC report from 2022 by UN clearly states that. Thus, we need to start healing the planet which is already deadly wounded. We must begin to help it out carrying some of the burden on our own shoulders.

Regenerative is all about giving back. Just like the hunters and gatherers did, and still do in some indigenous cultures. Being regenerative mean to be living in symbiosis with nature and each other. To RE-charge, RE-build, RE-grow. RE-generate.

Thats why scientists, CEOs, principles, doctors, philosophers, anthropologists, retreat centers like us and all different aspects of academia are beginning to implement this word. And why we now have a Regenerative Council in Denmark.

Please feel free to write us a mail or DM us on social media if you have any questions.

RE-gards,

Felix
